Venice Pizza House supports Dine Out for the Cure for the Second Year!

The LoMedico family and Venice Pizza House are happy to donate 25% of the proceeds of those dining with them on Thursday, Oct. 17th to Dine Out for the Cure. While their family has been fortunate enough not to have to deal with the pain associated with breast cancer, they have been impacted by cancer striking a family member.  Bill LoMedico’s 75-year old mother has been battling cancer for 5 years. This past June she had a third major surgery and is home recovering. She has been amazingly strong through this whole process and our family couldn’t be more proud of her strength. We are hopeful that they will find a treatment that works for her.

“It is important for all of us to do what we can to continue the research to eradicate not only breast cancer, but all cancers.” – Bill LoMedico

Thank you Venice Pizza House for supporting Dine Out for the Cure. The money raised helps women and men who are fighting breast cancer every day. Komen San Diego is determined to save lives through our work in laboratories, in neighborhoods, with lawmakers and globally to serve the needs of people facing this disease.

Be sure to Dine Out at Venice Pizza House on Thursday, October 17 for dinner from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and 25% of your meal price will be donated back to Susan G. Komen San Diego.
