15 Aug Screens, Genes, and the Choices We Make
On Tuesday, September 30, Susan G. Komen San Diego—the local organization synonymous with breast health—will host a dinner and an engaging, upbeat, and entertaining discussion about the facts that can keep you informed, healthy, and happy.
When it comes to breast cancer, there’s a lot of information swirling around that is less than factual. Screens, Genes & The Choices We Make will help you cut through the confusion and get the facts you need.
The event will be hosted by San Diego’s own Emmy-winning women’s health advocate, Carol LeBeau. She’ll have an expert panel from Tri-City Medical Group, Salk Research Institute among other experts to answer the questions you have such as whether mammograms do more harm than good, how to find out if you’re genetically predisposed to develop breast cancer, how close to a cure are we, and more.
