08 Oct Mayor Turned San Diego Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Mayor Faulconer Flipped the Switch to Launch Breast Cancer Awareness at Serra Museum
To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in San Diego, Mayor Kevin Faulconer and his wife, Katherine, joined Susan G. Komen San Diego to flip the switch and illuminate the dome of the Serra Museum in bright pink. The event launched a county-wide “See Pink, See San Diego?” campaign with Susan G. Komen San Diego for the month of October. The campaign encourages residents and businesses across the county to turn all things pink from building lights to employee uniforms to raise breast cancer awareness. Thank you Mayor Faulconer and your amazing staff! #breastcancerawarenessmont
