Amy Lord, Director of Corporate Philanthropy

Amy Lord is the Director of Corporate Philanthropy for Susan G. Komen San Diego. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with more than 10 years of experience serving both large and small non-profits. She has successfully led fundraising teams and has experience with annual funds, grant writing, major gifts, planned giving, capital campaigns, and special events.

She is passionate about making a difference in her community and inspiring others to give back and get involved. She believes everyone can make a difference and loves connecting people with causes they care about. In 2010, she joined the fight against breast cancer by participating in a 2-day walk with friends in memory of her great-grandmother. Since then, she’s led community events in multiple counties to raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer.

Raised in Texas and a daughter of a military family, she loves to travel and has visited more than 50 countries. She received a BA in Business Management from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, spending time with her bulldog, Lennon, and touring the beautiful sights of San Diego.
