Where you live shouldn’t determine whether you live.
Today is World Cancer Day and breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. Since inception Susan G. Komen’s global programs have provided more than $70 million to more than 200 organizations to support scientific research, community health programs and educational efforts in more than 60 countries. That is why we have helped implement the Women’s Health Empowerment Program (WHEP) alongside the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) in several countries around the world to encourage early detection. Also thanks to amazing partnerships with GE & the Caterpillar Foundation, Komen is able to impact women’s lives in Latin America, Saudi Arabia & China. #WorldCancerDay
