04 Jun Komen San Diego’s Virtual 25th Anniversary More Than Pink Annual Dinner Captivates San Diegans
Susan G. Komen San Diego’s first-ever virtual event was a success!
On Friday, May 29th, over 400 people tuned in from the comfort of their homes to support our mission to save lives in San Diego County and invest in research to prevent and cure breast cancer
Attendees enjoyed live music from electric violinist Spags and Encore Entertainment, watched a one of a kind art piece being made by local artist Clare Marie, and bid on spectacular auction items.
They also heard inspiring stories from local breast cancer patients, learned during a Q & A with Dr. Thomas Buchholz, SVP & Medical Director of Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, and honored 25 people who have helped us make a difference in the fight against breast cancer in San Diego during the past 25 years.
Because of the incredible support of our community, we surpassed our goal and raised $127,805!
Thank you to everyone who made our 25th Anniversary celebration a truly unforgettable evening.
