There’s another independence day we celebrate along with Fourth of July.  It’s called Juneteenth.  And celebrations are happening up and down California.

Juneteenth is the oldest known American celebration commemorating the end of legalized slavery for African-Americans in the United States.  It’s also a day to remember that taking care of our health is the best way to have a long life–free from disease.  African American women with breast cancer have a survival rate 41% lower than other women.  Join the Susan G.
