Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is proud to announce the return of Zumba Fitness Party in Pink Zumbathon Charity Events. Inspired by the stories of breast cancer survivors who relied on their Zumba classes for physical and emotional support during their fight against the disease, Zumba Fitness launched Party in Pink™ in 2010. The Zumba fitness craze offered the perfect opportunity for the Zumba Instructor Network to raise funds and awareness for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. In just four months, instructors held more than 700 events and raised an astounding $500,000 for breast cancer research and community outreach programs.

In 2011, Zumba Fitness expanded the Party in Pink program to more than 30 countries worldwide. From August 1 – October 31, Zumba Fitness will enlist its instructors to host Zumbathon Party in Pink charity events. At least 75 percent of the sales from each ticket will be donated to Komen. Zumba Fitness has also expanded their Party in Pink Zumbawear merchandise collection to feature bracelets, cargo pants, a tank top and t-shirt. 30% of all Party in Pink Zumbawear sales benefit Komen.
