Broken Yolk has returned for it’s 5th year in a row in support of Dine Out for the Cure:

11 Broken Yolk Café locations throughout San Diego County will be participating on October 12.

Broken Yolk does more than crack eggs….

Broken Yolk has returned for its 5th year to support Susan G. Komen San Diego’s Dine Out for the Cure! By  pledging 20% of their breakfast and lunch sales, Broken Yolk Café is helping to further Komen San Diego’s mission to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in San Diego County and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.

The money raised through Dine Out for the Cure helps fund breast health services, including free diagnostic mammograms, transportation assistance, meal deliveries and more, for uninsured or underinsured women (and men) in San Diego County.

Since 1979, Broken Yolk Café has served the San Diego community family-style portions of delicious bites, from All-American classics to South of the Border style. Their drive to serve the community goes way past the breakfast and lunch counter.  Broken Yolk has contributed nearly $22,000 to the fight against breast cancer since 2013!

About Dine out

For one delicious day, local restaurants, bakeries, and coffeehouses across San Diego will participate in Susan G. Komen San Diego’s Dine Out for the Cure®. It’s simple. Eat at a participating restaurant and you’ll help San Diego breast cancer patients become breast cancer survivors. For every dollar you spend, anywhere from 10-25% of the restaurant’s profits for the day will go to Komen San Diego to help fund breast health services and support

In 2016, Dine Out for the Cure raised $26,000. This year we hope to raise $35, 000 for local breast health services and support.
