A native of San Diego, Francisco graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in History. Francisco is a first-generation college graduate who is driven to give back as a way to show gratitude for the tremendous support he received along his journey. This drive led him to pursue two consecutive terms of service with AmeriCorps, and he is excited to continue making an impact through his work at Susan G. Komen San Diego. Francisco shares a deep connection to our mission as he lost his mother to breast cancer as a young child and is passionate in supporting those affected by breast cancer. Most people don’t know that Francisco has a bit of a green thumb and enjoys spending time in the garden, a passion he learned from his father and grandfather, who were both professional landscapers.
