I come to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in honor of my mother and grandmothers. Breast cancer has been a part of my family's history, and I want to do whatever I can to ensure a different future for myself, my daughter and the generations to come. Being a part of an organization that is focused not only on finding new treatments and cures, but on providing vital services and meaningful care to breast cancer patients in my community empowers me to do just that.
