I am very grateful to God that breast cancer has not affected my immediate family in anyway; yet I know many people who have suffered and lost their battle with breast cancer, numbers too high to tolerate.
I joined Susan G Komen for the Cure, San Diego two years ago with the goal of representing Hispanic communities along our border market. I have committed my time and resources to educate and make a difference, guiding Hispanic women/men with the necessary sources and services that Komen San Diego provides. I am honored to be part of this organization, and will continue to raise awareness for the cure in some way!
