My first opportunity for involvement with the San Diego affiliate was as an Honorary Survivor spokesperson, once I learned more about the mission and goals and the impact the Affiliate had on our local community I joined the Board. I have served as a Board member, Board Governance chair and Board President. It has been an honor and privilege to be involved with an organization whose goals are to help and support underserved women and men in our community with their struggle to obtain treatment and support in their struggle to survive breast cancer.
