I am a breast cancer survivor. Twice. Devastating, yet transforming. I witnessed first-hand how education, awareness and early detection are key factors for survival and wanted to contribute in any way to support important outreach efforts to others. Hence, my commitment to the San Diego affiliate to support and increase the availability of screening and treatment for all women in the San Diego area, and to the important work of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in eradicating breast cancer overall.
